We will need 4 volunteers from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and then 4 volunteers from 4:30 PM  to 10:00 PM. They can be the same people, however, it will be a very long day. For the first shift, we will need 2 volunteers for the golf registration check-in table, and 1 volunteer to register the spa attendees. 1 volunteer will be an extra to help set up and coordinate the spa day. Once registration is complete, we will need the volunteers to be ‘runners’ on the golf course. During the second shift, we will need 2 volunteers for the check-in table for the dinner, and 2 volunteers at the auction table. Once the check-in is complete the 2 volunteers can man the ‘sponsor a child’ donations table.  The event for the guests includes lunch, Tennis tournament or Golf tournament, a Spa Day (for non-golfers), Auction, Barbecue and Music.

This is an up-scale PRIVATE golf course.  You may not have another opportunity to see this extraordinary golf course.  FYI . . .  The Golf and Day Spa cost $500 per person and the Tennis is $300 per person.

Dress code during the day is golf attire, shorts, capris or slacks and a collared shirt.  The evening dress code is about the same.  We will have access to the locker room and showers so if you plan to volunteer for both day and evening, you may want to change clothes if it is hot outside.  We can take a shower and freshen up.  

This is the major fundraiser for the Ishi Dojo Youth Center, an after school program for at-risk youth ages 6 -18 in Providence's south side at 66 Pavilion.  Programs include martial arts, drama, dance, physical fitness and nutrition.  Ishi Dojo is a member of the Providence After-School Alliance.  No child is turned away, and fund-raising efforts are used for scholarships.
