Singles Volunteering in the Ocean State

What's Going On

All Member Meeting

October 16th, 6:30-8:30pm

What: Set in the casual atmosphere of the Tse Tse Gallery in the theater district of Providence, Singles in M'Ocean will be having our end of the year All Member Meeting. We encourage ALL members to attend and mingle, meet new people, discuss organizational topics and upcoming elections, learn more about events and getting involved, talk about accomplishments over the year and what may be planned for the future. Drinks and appetizers will be available at no charge to paid members and $5 for non-paid members. Bring your questions and suggestions, talk about events you liked and some you would like to see in the future, bring a friend. See calendar for more information and we will see you there.

2009 Elections
Coming soon, we will be requesting nominations for 2009 board positions. Members who have paid their one-time membership fee, participated in an ancillary position, and have completed at least 3 service events are eligible for nomination. Please consider nominating or running for VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Service, Social, and Membership Chairs. Non-board positions are available too. Please consider helping with publicity, service, social and membership committees. For more information on our election process or available positions please email info@singlesinmocean.org.

Get more out of your membership
We are always looking for committee members for the Service and Social committees. These committees meet on a bimonthly basis to plan the events and activities that appear on the SIMO calendar.

If you would like to see your ideas put into action, come serve on a committee!
